“The Circus arrives without warning…”
I finished The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern the other day (a Standalone novel) and wow What an AmAzInG book! The Night Circus was a beautifully crafted book sprinkled with mystery, romance and dashed with lots of magic! Erin Morgenstern is such a descriptive author1 i felt like i was in the book myself!! The story changes perspectives from multiple of characters allowing the reader to get immersed in this lovely book! The story follows two main Characters, Marco and Celia.

*SUMMARY*
Celia is daughter to the well know magician Prospero and his illusionist talents can be easily seen in his child. At just 6 years of age, Celia shows remarkable powers by breaking and floating objects. She becomes bounded to this “Game” that is unknown to all and she is given no details of how to win or who her mysterious opponent may be… She is taught all she needs to know about magic and illusions from her father, prepping her for the day she will become victorious. As Celia grows she becomes more immersed into the art of magic that soon she joins Les Cirque des Rêves, open only at night
Marco, taught by the secret “man in the grey suit” is Celia’s opponent to the game bounded young and taught through books all his life. With Marco becoming the assistant to the founder of Les Cirque des Rêves, Celia and Marco end up meeting and after staying hidden in the shadows soon fall slowly in love. Marco and Celia must keep their head in the game but with only one allowed standing, What will Celia and Marco do next?
"Its as if there is Love and Loss at the same time together, a kind of beautiful pain"

Ok now onto my review…
*SPOILERS… YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED*
WOW JUST WOW!! This book was in such elaborate detail that I felt like I was in the book while the challenge was taken place! I absolutely loved how the Night Circus was comprised of multiple tents such as the wishing tree, fortune teller, ice garden, Widget’s tent and so much more!!. Throughout the story, tents kept on adding onto the main ones! My favorite tents had to be the ice garden! it mesmerized me! it was so cool how everything was made of glass! And of course I loved Celia’s tent! If only Les Cirque des Rêves was real! I would definitely visit it everynight and even become a rêveurs! (it took me 10 tries to write that since autocorrect kept changing it to “rivers” lol).
“The Finest of Pleasures are always the unexpected ones.”
Onto my thoughts of the characters…
Honestly I loved all the characters. It was a great addition to have a bunch of secondary characters add to the story from their point of view! Bailey and his adventures with Poppet and Widget really showed how dedicated Bailey was to the circus and it worked out when Bailey ended up taking charge of Les Cirque des Rêves! ALSO I SHIP MARCO AND CELIA SO HARD! I really gotta get some merch for this wonderful standalone! Erin Morgenstern definitely took all my dreams of magic and illusion and jam packed them into this book!
Happy Readings!
